Mark Armstrong's London Marathon success
3 April 2016All at Pan are hugely grateful for Mark Armstrong's athletic prowess and determination as he successfully completed the London Marathon raising £1,832.50 for Pan.
Mark usually reserves his fine lungs for work as Artistic Director of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and as Professor at the Royal College of Music. It is much appreciated that he turned his talents to months of preparation for the Marathon and went on to run so successfully.
Thank you to everyone who donated and for the kind messages of support. Mark motivated us all by his plea:
“I passionately believe in the power of the arts to enrich, transform and bring meaning to all our lives so I do hope you will support me this year. In my professional life I have seen how music can bring out the best in people and I am excited to be supporting a charity that does this work across the arts.”
Well-done Mark for raising the impressive £1,832.50. The donation page is still open should anyone wish to add to their support, please do so at:
